Our client was interested in dimensional and colorful art for the space; they did not want to showcase another print or painting in the space above an entrance hallway (on a second story wall) adjacent to a stairway. In terms of sourcing the artwork, I focused on proposing options that offered enough detail to provide interest from every angle; since the work is enjoyed from a distance, the pieces also needed to have presence in order to hold their own in a rather large (and high-up)space. The hot sculpted glass grouping has dimensional interest and adds a rich and sophisticated color to the space. From every viewpoint, the works are striking. I can not say enough about how the glass enriches the space through color, dimension, and pattern.
